Getting the best home computer for your money is a challenge anymore. There are so many options to choose from, that it is really getting harder and harder to figure out what the good deals are. Also, what about operating systems? Is Windows still the way to go, or is Linux taking everything over? Is it Mac or PC? If it is PC, which do you go with? There is Dell, Gateway, Compaq… with so many choices, it really can be an overwhelming decision.
Well, here are some suggestions that might fuel your thought for a second. First off, consider this. If you are planning on going into computer graphics, than a Mac would probably be the way to go. But, if you are into hardware, building computers, or stringing network wire, than a PC is probably going to be your best bet. With that said, there are many different Pcs to choose from, so which is better?
Well, they all have their ups and downs. Some say Gateway beats Dell out anyday, and yet there are those that swear by Compaq. Still, custom Dells are one of the hottest sellers, with a lot of fans. Also, Linux is really coming into the limelight, especially as more and more people grow tired of the “games” they are forced to play with Windows Vista.
One thing is for sure, that there are good deals no matter which way you go… it is really about what you can get the best deal on. You can get good hardware from any company. For that matter, hardware does not even have to come from a well known company to be good. Shopping around, asking questions, and studying up are the best things you can do. Information is key.
